United have already been linked with one of the best players in the Championship, Leicester City’s Jeremy Monga.
At just 16 years old, Monga can best be described as an exciting, two-footed inverted winger. He is admired for his explosive pace, exceptional dribbling, precise control at high speed and unpredictability.
His ability to cut inside and unleash powerful shots has consistently troubled Leicester’s opponents.
Remarkably, Monga made his Premier League debut last April, after just 15 years and 271 days. A move to Manchester City was close last summer, but it did not materialize. Nevertheless, he is widely expected to make a big move in 2026.

While this may not be the most encouraging news for United fans, it should certainly spur INEOS into action to ensure the wonderkid doesn’t miss out.
Bailey reports: “We can reveal that Tottenham have been pushing very hard in recent weeks, but Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United have all laid out their plans for the Coventry-born star.”
Tottenham Hotspur’s aggressive pursuit is clearly complicating United’s case. But the fact United have already presented their vision to the teenager, who could be an ideal option as a No. 10 in Amorim’s system, suggests they remain determined to hijack any move elsewhere.
With INEOS intent on bringing in elite young talent as they build the future, Monga represents a move they simply cannot afford to miss.
Securing his signature in this red-hot race would send shockwaves through the Premier League and remind everyone of United’s enduring appeal.
