Jordan Clarkson is no longer part of the UTAH Jazz plans because they want to rebuild, and he wants to play for a winner. Both parties got what they wanted out of season this season when they separated, and that is the Bottom Line. After the newest Intel on the New York Knicks and their interest in Malik Beasley, however, jazz fans can laugh at how Clarkson went from a bad situation to a potentially worse.
For the context, after the ex-Jazzman Beasley was no longer investigated for gambling, there were soon reports that the Knicks are interested in adding him.
The Knicks ran the basis earlier at the Malik Beasley camp and are seen as a potential option for the 3-point sniper, says a competition source. Beasley has recently been cleaned up in a federal gambling investigation and is probably the best unlimited free agent on the market. The…

If that happens, it can influence the role of Clarkson in the team. Beasley is not the same player as Clarkson, but at this stage of their respective career, Beasley is perhaps the more appreciated piece in their rotation as an elite movement -movie. He is much more consistent than Clarkson is, which would raise him in the food chain than Clarkson would do.
Because the Knicks can be more dependent on him, Clarkson may not get the role he would also get when he drew at New York after cleaning up exemptions. Clarkson has made it clear that he is enthusiastic to play for the Knicks, but adding beasley to the mix can curb that excitement if it hurts its long -term perspectives.
This can all be for nothing if Beasley draws again with the pistons or somewhere else, but if Beasley draws with the knicks, the Clarkson brings some bond somewhat.
Clarkson has played with Elite movement shooters in the past
Although the potential that Beasley adds to the rotation of the Knicks would harm the chances of Clarkson for more minutes, he would be familiar with playing with an off-ball shooter in the rotation because he played with the Jazz with different ones during his days.
Ironically, that his experience during Beasley’s for a short time in Utah. In addition to him, however, Clarkson also played with Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic and Georges Niang, who all flourished to be the snipers they were and they played pretty big with Clarkson.
The former Jazz Sixth Man of the Year is and has always been a shoot-first player who is not dependent on a playmaker, but the jazz has had it work with him and their wings that can save the floor. The Knicks could possibly make that work in the same way as jazz, as the Utah brought success as fans know.
However, this may not be what Clarkson had in mind when New York signed him. Jazz fans should be carrot for him if he embraces this next chapter of his career, but it would be such a shame if this damages his long-term career perspectives.
