This is the fifth start of Peralta and the sixth performance against the Giants. He has a career 3.86 ERA over 16 1/3 innings.
In the meantime, Logan Webb starts for the Giants. This is the second time this season that Peralta and Webb match in a game. Webb was the better pitcher for the first time and threw 6 1/3 scoreless innings while the Giants took that competition. He also comes from one of his best starts of the season and throws seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts against the rays. During his career, Webb was heavy against the Brewers. He has a 2.17 ERA over 37 1/3 innings over six starts.
