The Utah Jazz has helped Russell Westbrook to find its next career possibility several times in recent years. First they helped him go to the clippers, then they helped him go to the nuggets. Because the jazz is still in the same place now that they were then, they can help Westbrook with its next team, the Sacramento Kings.
NBA Insider Jake Fischer reported about Livestream of Bleacher Report that the kings are in fact the last hope of Westbrook to stay in the NBA
However, that is not that easy with the current dops situation of the kings and their security rotation. With Zach Lavine, Keon Ellis and the newly added Dennis Schroder, someone will have to get the boot to make room for Westbrook. It is said that Malik Monk is.
Sactown Sports’ Allen Stiles On July 28, confirm that the kings are willing to exchange one Van Monk or Devin Carter to make room for Westbrook, although Monk is a little more logical because the actions of him would save more money.
If the kings are really a lot to bring in Westbrook and get to monks to make room for him, the jazz can certainly withdraw to help them make such a movement.
How jazz can solve the dilemma of Westbrook-kings
This is a good opportunity for Utah to possibly get very little a different tensile assets. The kings exchange monk to save enough money to add Westbrook cheaply. The best way in which they could do this is to exchange the following.
Getting kings: KJ Martin (whose not -the contract would be removed), Kevin Love (who would abandon and stretch the kings)
Jazz Get: Monnik, 2026 First round Pick of the Kings (TOP-ENT Protected)
It works for both teams. The kings save the money they need to sign Westbrook, and the jazz break tires with replaceable players who didn’t have much of a future anyway and get something out of it.
Is the jazz useful for monk? Of course not, but they could try to build his value for contenders who want a player the way he wants. Admittedly, they tried this with players who have a similar archetype as a monk with Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson, and well, we all know how that went. He is younger than Clarkson and has played for a Playoff team, in contrast to Sexton.
They could possibly roll him to another team for another expired contract if a team wants to save money. That may require more contracts, but the jazz is flexible and Monk can be the bar for their young guards to erase.
And for their problems they could possibly acquire an assets from the first round, or exchange for a possible upgrade, similar to their trade with the Phoenix Suns in February.
If jazz no longer wants to acquire long -term contracts and no more assets, they would not involve a deal like this, but a deal like this would be easy to be money if they want another and be willing to take a contract (that they can possibly trade) for their problems.
