Jan Blachowicz steps into the cage again this calendar year and wants to show off that much-vaunted ‘Polish Power’ again. To do that, the former UFC light heavyweight champion must defeat a rising 205-pound competitor in the UFC’s final pay-per-view offering of 2025.
At UFC 323, Jan Blachowicz will face Bogdan Guskov as the former looks to return to victory on December 6. Blachowicz enters the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on a winless streak in his last three appearances. The 42-year-old fought to a split draw with eventual UFC champion Magomed Ankalaev, dropped a controversial split decision to current UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, and suffered a points loss to potential next challenger at 205 pounds, Carlos Ulberg.
For Guskov, he came up short in his promotional debut against former UFC title challenger Volkan Oezdemir, but has since put together a four-fight win streak. His last appearance in the cage came in July when Guskov stopped longtime contender Nikita Krylov with hits in the opening frame of their fight.

Jan Blachowicz is a big name in every way, but the promotion seems to be looking to add some firepower for their final PPV of the year. Blachowicz was announced for this card by Dana White, with the UFC CEO announces a host of blockbuster strikes for that looming December card.
Merab Dvalishvili vs. Petr Yan 2 will headline this event as the former defends his bantamweight championship against the latter, with Yan once sitting on that throne. Also, Alexandre Pantoja will defend his flyweight crown against the white-hot Joshua Van with this 125-pound championship match, positioned as the co-main event for UFC 323.
Additionally, former two-division champion Henry Cejudo will look to get back to winning ways as he takes on rising talent Payton Talbott in what is by far the toughest test of the latter’s professional MMA career to date.
