I’ve even seen some fighters, Shakur (Stevenson), (Deontay) Wilder come out and talk about, ‘Well, Jake Paul could win.’ It’s such an insult to boxing.
“It’s really an insult. What happened with Francis (Ngannou) and Joshua should have happened. That’s exactly what should have happened, and that’s exactly what should have happened with Joshua and Paul, and I think that’s completely the public’s perception. This match is just so peculiar that the odds are a little bit lower because people aren’t convinced that this is a shoot. I believe it is a shoot, but I’m just telling you that there’s no one, including Jake Paul’s brother, who believes Jake Paul can Defeating Joshua in a boxing match.
“If I picture in my head that I have my gloves on and Anthony Joshua is coming at me, and I can’t do anything with him except my right and left hand, that’s a legitimately dangerous situation,” Sonnen said. “That’s a legitimately dangerous situation that the Florida Commission could explain about this kind of situation. It’s really the biggest mismatch in sports of my life, and I respect Paul for doing it.”
