Yes, Bank has announced its strategic expansion in Kerala with four new branches planned in FY26 in Kochi, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram. The bank currently has 22 branches and 22 ATMs in the state, which operate more than 2.6 Lakh customers, including 1 Lakh alone in Kochi.
Kerala today contributes 2.1 percent of the bank’s general deposit portfolio, and the retail obligations of the state accounts for almost 73 percent of the total deposits, which underlines the strong role of retail customers. Deposits of individuals have grown with an impressive 170 percent between June 2022 and June 2025, with the emphasis on the increasing trust and preference for the bank’s solutions, Dheeraj Sanghi, national main obligations, reimbursements and business banking, yes bank.
NRI population
The bank acknowledges the importance of the large NRI population of Kerala and has improved its package of services with zero forex-markup on USD inward transmissions, zero cross-currency marking on international payment pest transactions, attractive interest rates on NRE/NRO permanent deposit and alleged and assigned and ded-exzettingen end-end-end-end-end-end-end-end assistance. To supplement this, the bank uses its representative office to facilitate seamless onboarding and continuous support for NRI customers while they are abroad, thereby guaranteeing convenience and trust in cross-border transactions.
The bank also strengthens its involvement in the exporter community of Kerala and carries out programs in collaboration with associations in Kochi to offer solutions in trade financing, Forex and MSME loans.
From June 2025, the Kerala portfolio of the bank was £ 6,791 crore in assets and £ 5,673 crore in obligations. To further build on this basis, the bank adds two branches in Kochi and one in Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram during FY26.
