The Phoenix Suns are in their training camp for a few days before they go to Macau for a number of pre -season meetings with the Brooklyn Nets, and the mood around the team is now as high as you would expect. New head coach Jordan Ott finally gets the chance to work with the schedule about how he wants them to play this next season.
About the only negative is the enigmatic absence of Centrum Mark Williams – especially in view of his injury history – although coach Ott has already ensured that there is no reason to worry. It is clear to look at the team that they still need a high -level point guard to run the show, even if both Devin Booker and Jalen Green said the right things about playing Some on Media Day.
Suns keep missing to have Chris Paul in the valley.
That makes their decision not to go after Chris Paul, this season out of season a stranger who is not getting older. You may remember that apparently Paul only wanted to return to Phoenix or De la Clippers prior to what is probably his last season, given his family living in Los Angeles. It was rumor that it was the sun that did not want a reunion, much about the annoyance of booker.

Given everything that has happened for the clippers for the clippers since Paul drew there, it is another reason that would have been logical for all those involved. Yes, La was a better chance for the “Point God” at the time to win that elusive ring, but that does not seem likely that everything that happens to that franchise at the moment.
He will also come from the bank for the clippers – and although that would probably have happened in Phoenix – his role would in any case have been much more defined. Runiting with Booker as one of the better tandems that the franchise has ever seen, and to be an incredible playmaker when you are on the field.
You can see how quickly all young people settle in the valley, and Paul would have been invaluable to have around. Imagine how powerful he could have made the 19-year-old Kaman Maluach center, for example, since he currently has no offensive match at all. Paul Rememor is the same man who in the past made Bismack Biyombo look like an All-Star.
This will always fall like a missed opportunity, and one that only gets worse. Neither Booker or Green should play big minutes at one, while Collin Gillespie is a solid backup, but currently does not project to be a little more than that. What could have been if the Suns look like the fan base again on the side while they go into the wilderness for a few seasons.
