Tempe, AZ – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (“ITA”) is pleased today to announce a partnership with Match Tennis, in which they will be designated “An Official Live Scoring Provider of the ITA.”
Match Tennis App aims to promote the sport of tennis at all levels, from beginner to professional, through the development and implementation of innovative technologies. Through their technological efforts, Match Tennis aims to increase participation in tennis and create a more accessible and inclusive environment for players of all ages, genders and backgrounds.
“I’m thrilled that the ITA will be partnering with an app that our coaches have relied heavily on all year for their recruiting needs,” said David Mullins, CEO of ITA. “This partnership will provide college tennis programs with an easy way to present their matches to a broader audience, while streamlining final score submissions directly to the ITA for ranking purposes. We look forward to better connecting the junior track to collegiate play with the help of Match Tennis in the future.”
ITA member teams can use the new Match Tennis App college tennis live scoring feature for their doubles matches for free. This will give programs access to the Match Tennis App and live scoring software to give fans another way to follow matches, while also sending completed results directly from the app to the ITA.

This agreement will ensure that more programs than ever have access to a live scoring solution that is fully integrated with the ITA system. As a result, this partnership should streamline many of the numerous responsibilities shared by coaches, athletics staff and players when it comes to the promotion and reporting of results of their programs.
The first phase of this partnership will be completed early in the new year, with several college tennis programs testing the new live scoring feature before its full launch across all seven divisions of college tennis. The ITA will send regular updates and educational materials about this project to both coaches and officials in the new year.
