Isuzu Motors and Volvo Group have signed new strategic partnerships to develop joint trucks. Through the agreement, the new models will be made using the modular platform for medium -sized tasks specially developed for the Japanese markets and the Asian designed Asian markets by ISZU and UD Truck, as well as the use of technology of the Volvo Group.
The agreement was established by the strategic cooperation framework agreement signed by both companies in October 2020, and it is a long -term cooperation that will last at least 20 years.
The new agreement also contains provisions for continuous delivery of important components, in particular the Power Network from Volvo Group. It also provides continuous technical support in quality development and security. The partnership will focus on developing platform development and strengthening the customer service system to guarantee a stable and successful market introduction.
