The Capitals of Delhi (DC)Formerly known as the Delhi Daredevils, they have been part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) since its inception in 2008. Over the years, the franchise has seen several highs and lows, with their best result being the IPL 2020 where they finished as runners-up behind Mumbai Indians. Delhi has reached the play-offs five times while falling short in the group stages on other occasions.

The franchise is co-owned by GMR Group and JSW Sports. In IPL 2025, DC was captained by Axar Patel and coached by Hemang Badani.
