I’ve mentioned it here a few times over the past year, but I’m going to have a fun adventure this summer and enjoy a game at each team’s home park. I chose this summer so I could also enjoy one or two World Baseball Classic games. Since I know you all can’t get enough of my thoughts, feelings and opinions on all things baseball, I decided to start a blog and share the journey with you. This first post is to lay out the plan for you so you can see what it will look like and I can see what people are interested in.
Ticket Plans: My plans for game tickets for MLB games are to get the cheapest tickets I can for almost every game. I want to see the parks. I want to see what the views are like from different angles and areas. I don’t plan on sitting in my seat for most of the game, so I don’t want to waste money on expensive seats. The stadium I’m most thinking about getting dedicated seating is Fenway. I think it would be fun to be in The Monster. So I can do that. If anyone has insight into other seating locations in other parks that are truly special and provide a truly unique vantage point for a game, please let me know!
Travel plans: I don’t want to drive in New York, so I’m going to take a flight to Washington and from there trains, Ubers and rental cars on my East Coast swing. But I do the rest in my trusty camper. That will lead to some long days and tight times to get to some games and get out of town after the games, but it will make for an exciting adventure! The WBC trip will be done solo, but the plan is to take my dog with me on the others. There will be some hotel stays in between if we just need a night in with some comfort, but we’re hearty northern campers so we’ll be well on our way most of the time. This also allows us to save a few dollars on the flight and hotel option.

Whenever. I live here. So I go when the mood strikes.
There is an option to move some games around and fit in with most of the schedule. Part of the schedule is quite tight and that will be fun and stressful at the same time. I’m excited for summer and think it’s going to be a pretty cool adventure.
Let me know what you like about it, what you think the pain points are, and what you think I should write about. What do you want to know about all the different parks across the country and the challenge of seeing them all in one summer? Are you curious about the WBC games? Let me know and I’ll do my best to report it!
Spring training is here and baseball season is just around the corner!
