Inside Splits59’s New NYC Pop-Up: A First Look at the Activewear Brand’s Retail Debut

Splits59 is currently one of the hottest activewear brands and for the first time they are venturing into retail with a pop-up location designed by Yaoska Interiors at 12 Crosby Street in New York City. The boutique will run from November to January 31, 2026 and represents a new era for the brand. Featuring a bespoke interior, carefully designed space and an on-site studio, this marks the launch of a wider retail strategy, with the brand planning to open more retail spaces in the future.

Here’s a look inside this chic seasonal store, as well as insight into the brand’s process and the designers behind the concept.

A split space

Designed for both exercise and shopping, this pop-up celebrates a new era for the activewear brand loved by celebrities and influencers including Ariana Grande, Lindsay Lohan, Millie Bobbie Brown, Bella Hadid and Olivia Culpo, among many others.

Yaoska Interiors designed the store with trendy yellow walls (yellow is on the rise in fashion), warm wood accents and polished concrete floors. The legs of the presentation tables have the same wood shape and material as the racks. The sleek, modern aesthetic reflects the overall coolness of the brand as a whole.

“Inspired by museum exhibition walls, Yaoska Interiors’ design approach aims to affirm a lifestyle centered on sports and play. We approached the pop-up as a curatorial concept focused on the intersection of sports and design,” says Shannon Quarantino, Vice President of E-Commerce at Splits59. “The layout has been specifically designed to be highly attractive. The placement of the walls creates a playful labyrinth, encouraging customers to explore and interact with the product. The bold color palette was chosen to generate an energetic atmosphere, attracting attention and inviting customers to come closer and experience the brand.”

A design

The pop-up boutique is more than just a place where you can buy the brand’s sports bras, leggings and outerwear. The design aims to bring each item from the screen to real life, creating a welcoming environment where shoppers can build a real connection not only with the brand, but also with their own bodies, Quarantino said.

The space will also showcase new activewear collections and upcoming collaborations, such as the brand’s December launch with MZ Wallace. “Ultimately, the pop-up is designed to enable meaningful interaction with customers, and reflects SPLITS59’s core pillars: performance and style.”

A place for movement

In addition to selling sportswear and accessories, the store is also designed as a place for exercise and community. Through a chic glass partition is a dedicated studio where classes are held all season long in collaboration with some of the city’s hottest studios and local brands, including Good pilates, Residentand top trainers such as Hilary Hofman.

In addition to classes, Splits59 hosts consumer-focused events and activations almost every weekend. The brand will be offering this in December alone Cowboy colostrum matcha for shoppers during the weekend of December 5, a full hot chocolate and snow activation on the weekend of December 13, and Sakara’s Metabolism Lattes the weekend of December 19.

Data and design

Although the store only opened at the beginning of this year, Splits59 is investing heavily in its success. It plays a key role in shaping the brand’s evolving business plan. “If all goes well, we plan to launch a number of pop-up stores in the coming year,” Quarantino reveals. “The primary goal is to gather data and insights that can support the opening of a more permanent location in the future.”

All in all, the Splits59 pop-up offers visitors a dynamic mix of fashion, functionality and compelling brand storytelling, marking an exciting next chapter for the fast-growing brand.
