“India has now surpassed Japan to become the third largest car market market worldwide, and the government focuses on the number 1 position within the next five years,” he said during the top.
“All the important global car drivers are now present in India. Their focus has shifted from merely compiling the exporting of India to the world,” Gadkari said, and emphasized that the two -wheeler sector of India exports more than 50% of production, with the growing worldwide footprint of the country.
With clean mobility, Gadkari emphasized the leadership of India in electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel and alternative fuels. “We have already launched hydrogen trucks and pilot projects are underway on ten routes. Our goal is to lead the world in green mobility,” he said.
With the support of companies such as TATA Motors, Ashok Leyland, Reliance and Indian Oil, the government has provided £ 600 crore in subsidies to follow hydrogen infrastructure too quickly, he said.

Minister Gadkari also pointed to successful bio-bitumen tests made of rice straw, which has shown better performance than bitumen based on petroleum and helps to reduce stubble burning.
Gadkari also called for global partnerships in important innovation areas, including prefab road construction, tunnel technology, hydrogen transport systems and solutions for circular economy.
“We have no resource problem. Our ways have been received and our income is strong. What we need is your innovation, your technology and your cooperation,” he said, in which he encouraged international delegates to invest in India’s infrastructure story.
