What to expect on February 19 (Thursday – Main Summit Day 1):
The day will kick off with a high-profile inaugural ceremony and leadership plenary meeting by Prime Minister Modi, followed by a closed-door CEO roundtable on investments and responsible AI priorities.
From ~11am, Plenary Room A will host a blockbuster line-up of keynotes and fireside chats with:

- Sunil Bharti Mittal in conversation with Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen
- Bill Gates
- Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei
- Sam Altman (OpenAI)

Technology and business enthusiasts can expect a sharp focus on AI adoption in enterprises, sovereign AI infrastructure, frugal/small AI models for India-scale deployment, skill and job creation, and large-scale technology collaborations between India and the world.
The India AI Impact Expo (300+ exhibitors, 30+ countries) will remain open all day for networking and live demos.
Physical access for the main plenaries may be limited due to VIP attendance, but full live streams will be available on the official IndiaAI YouTube channel.

Galgotias asked to leave AI Summit after showing the Chinese robot as his own
Private university Galgotias has been asked to vacate its stall at the AI Impact Summit following a controversy over exhibiting a Chinese-made robot dog as its own innovation.
Following the controversy, IT Secretary S Krishnan said the government does not want exhibitors to display items that do not belong to them.
“We don’t want such exhibitions to continue,” he said, after organizers asked Galgotias University to vacate its stall.
