Leicester are quickly building momentum towards the appointment of a new manager. Enzo Maresca And Gary Rowett are both seen as top candidates. Both mentioned and discussed in the latest articles about this vacant position.
Chris Koolman is also among the top candidates. Russel Martin still in the running with the bookmakers, but excluded from the race by Football Insider. Several reports also rule this out Nigel Pearson. He is currently not looking for a manager position.
Victor Pereira is also one to recognize. Guus Poet was recently listed and at a 11/2 ratio.
The dream would be to bring Enzo Maresca back to the club, but it would be a huge surprise if that happened, but his chances have been crushed recently.

We are also pleased that Gary Rowett is taking on this role. He wouldn’t be the most spectacular managerial appointment, but he could hopefully get us into a play-off fight.
His situation at Oxford was more or less hopeless as his best player and former Leicester player Elliott Moore simply closed the door on the club and decided to see what other options were available. The former Oxford captain was without a club but has not yet signed for Northampton. It’s not easy to understand that step because you’re so integrated into this club.
Discussions with the manager will continue, but we believe an appointment will be very close, with the King-Sadler partnership needing a more established man to lead them.
There is no news on who will be the next technical director as the order of this shifts back and forth. We just have to hope that this continues as a strange process that never happens.
