I’m planning to redo the entire UI/UX for my side project, it’s for fantastic football where it goes and collects data and generates “prizes” for your league(s). Originally, the prizes started out as basic cards, like in this first image https://preview.redd.it/zfdlek46m3lg1.png?width=1518&format=png&auto=webp&s=c91b2c69298590814e871db27636ba9dceb24399 But as people asked more things, I added more and more filters, views, and settings for this view. Here is the new design with all the filters, it actually still looks the same as what I have today, just a new coat of paint. The first attachment is the desktop view, which I think looks good, but there’s still a lot of noise… and on mobile it looks even rougher (I know it’s not centered/perfectly aligned, still a work in progress). Desktop Mobile UX/Design is not my biggest strength, I mainly do backend development and can “copy” any mocks a UX person can provide. But this design is just a very backend developer thing for me at this point to just “put more filters on it and we’ll be good!”, and now I see it biting me. Anyway, I’d like some advice on what to do here. I was thinking about maybe adding these for mobile only as options at the bottom to make it more like a real mobile app, but I don’t know. Let me know what you think and/or any other questions you have about this submitted by /u/HappyZombies |
