Intermountain MLS – the largest multi-listing service in Idaho – has named Richard Gibbens CEO, effective March 30.
Gibbens most recently served as CEO of the Kentucky-based company Bluegrass Realtorswhere he led modernization efforts, expanded broker collaboration and advanced data and technology initiatives.
Before that he was director of Southwestern MLS at the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtorswhere he helped align association and MLS operations and strengthen data management standards.

Gibbens holds a Master of Business Administration degree and has earned both the Realtor Certified Executive and the Certified MLS Executive Level 3 and Real Estate Data Benchmark designations.
He is a frequent speaker at national and regional industry events, covering topics such as MLS evolution, data standards, broker partnerships, and the role of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
The executive search was conducted by a search committee and facilitated by WAV group.
Willis Stone – president of Intermountain MLS in 2026 – said the board had confidence in Gibbens’ leadership.
