WATCH: ICE Bodycam Captures Targeted Florida Enforcement Operation Against Sex Offenders

Newly released ICE bodycam footage from Florida offers direct insight into “Operation Dirtbag,” a statewide crackdown that removed some of the most dangerous criminal illegal alien sex predators from American communities.

On Wednesday, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced that more than 150 illegal migrant sexual predators have been captured in Florida as part of a sweep, noting that cooperation with the DeSantis administration has been critical to making the state safer for citizens.

Speaking to Fox & Friends, Noem said: “Our partnership with Florida is absolutely amazing. This operation was called ‘Operation Criminal Return’. I call it ‘Operation Dirtbag’ because these individuals were sex offenders.”

“But not just sex offenders. They targeted children. So assault, abuse, attempted murder.”

The operation, which launched at the end of October and continued into November, has resulted in the arrest of more than 150 illegal alien sex offenders and more 230 total criminal illegal aliens.

The arrested persons had previously been convicted of sexual abuse of children, rape, exploitation, lewd and lascivious behavior, assault and even attempted murder.

The images capture the reality that Democrats continually deny: ICE officers are not the villains they are portrayed to be.

They are the only line of defense between families and predators who should never have been in the country.

ICE officers worked with state and local 287(g) partners to identify, locate and apprehend high-risk offenders in multiple Florida jurisdictions.

Officers careful confirmed identities, verified criminal histories, secured locations and arrests carried out with professionalism. There was no chaos, no improvisation and no misconduct – just the single-minded enforcement approach that Republicans have long supported.

“Operation Dirtbag” demonstrated how these partnerships function as a force multiplier, giving agents the authority and real-time access needed to efficiently and safely remove criminal aliens.

This is exactly the model that Democrats have been trying to dismantle. Shelter policies, prisoner restrictions, and repeated calls to defund ICE directly undermine the tools that made “Operation Dirtbag” possible.

If the Democrats had succeeded, hundreds of criminal offenders would still be in Florida neighborhoods, moving between jurisdictions, failing to register and exploiting every weakness in the system.

The bodycam footage exposes that reality. It shows the offenders that ICE actually encounters: violent, convicted predators who operated freely until this operation took them out.

‘Operation Dirtbag’ also represents a broader shift. The days of catch-and-release and reactive enforcement have been replaced by a targeted, intelligence-driven strategy that prioritizes the most dangerous offenders.

The operation reflects a return to true border and interior enforcement anchored in cooperation among federal, state, and local agencies.

The result is a safer Florida and a blueprint for national policy.

ICE officers are conduct essential public safety operations that protect American families from violent illegal alien predators. Republicans support that mission. The Democrats are hindering this.

And as the Florida operation has proven, the consequences of that difference are measured in the safety of every community that ICE is allowed (or not allowed) to protect.
