“Peace of mind” will come back …
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Flightweight Finisher Hyun Sung Park Last night his first professional loss in the short term at UFC Vegas 108 (Sat., 2 August 2025). The South Korean was submitted in the second round by the top candidate Tatsuro Taira Within the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada (watch highlights).
After the defeat, Park went to Instagram to tackle the setback with resilience and determination.
“Absolutely lost,” wrote Park in Korean. “It is indeed difficult. I have confronted many challenges, but I have learned valuable lessons. I will grow from this experience and not give up. I climb back. This was a learning option.”
“I’ll show you my best soon in the next game,” he continued. “I am not frustrated. Thank you all for your support. And no more 7-day Rush offers! LMFAO.”
Park (10-1) saw his impressive Tien-Vecht profit racing, but his youth and talent suggest that a strong comeback is on hands. “Peace of Mind” contains a 3-1 UFC record, all three victories per finish, including an entry victory Carlos Hernandez (highlights) and a knockout of Shannon Ross.
The willingness of the 29-year-old to hire Taira in the short term shows that he is a hunter without fear and one to keep an eye on in the coming years.
