Fabian Hurzeler continued to smoke after Bournemouth had defeated Brighton with the help of a controversial goal in the Premier League on Saturday.
Alex Scott gave the cherries an early lead after shooting in a beautiful striker from just outside the area in the 18th minute at home.
The visitors struck again shortly after the break through Kaoru Mitoma, who appeared on the back post to go into the equalizer.
Brighton had their chances of getting in the front, but was left to restore their dissolute for the goal when Jan Paul van Hecke allowed a penalty. The center-back stumbled Evanilson and Semenyo converted the spot kick to give Bournemouth the victory.
“The performance was pretty good, we dominated the game, we had chances, we just made the wrong decisions,” Hurzeler admitted Sky Sports. “The little margins made the difference and we were not at the highest level.”

The seagulls played with ten men at the time of Scott’s opener. Maxime De Cuyper had to leave the field after he pushed Antoine Semenyo into the advertising bamers. The defender was replaced shortly thereafter by Ferdi Kadioglu.
“It should not be the case and then we give a goal with 10 men, so I think it’s not the right thing. Very bad luck, but we have to accept it, that’s football,” Hurzeler said.
The German added: “We win together, we lose together. We will analyze and come back.”
In the meantime, Brighton’s boss believes that Jack Hinshelwood sustained a serious injury after he had left the field just two minutes after the kick -off. “I’m not a doctor, so we have to wait for the scan.”
