GB star Anna Hursey was invited to participate in the current WTT Champions event in Macao as a joker sign after a fantastic season. Hursey gets the ultimate chance to announce herself on the biggest stage, because she is confronted with China’s Sun Yingsha, the current world number 1.
An epic season of versions in the 24/25 season has seen the young Welsh -star take several European titles and compete in a wide range of elite competitions. The season started with Anna who competed at her first Olympic Games in Paris, for which she qualified for only 17 years old. During the season she won both the U21 & U19 European Singles Titels Championships, plus her first WTT title in Manchester, and achieved a WTT youth of number 4 in the world.
Hursey is in the field of the current world number 1, twice world champion, Olympic team event champion and Singles Silver medal winner at WTT champions Macao at 2:30 PM (7:30 am VK) on Wednesday 10 September.
