The Swedish star rises through the ranks and earned a two shots of victory in the GAC Rosa Tour Challenge in Poland for his greatest victory so far.

Townsend, the son of the former PGA Tour and Ryder Cup player Peter, finished on 15-under in the GAC Rosa Tour Challenge, two free from Anton Albers.

His other professional victory arrived at the Nordic Golf League in 2024 when he took the title at the Titleist championship in a play -off with colleague Swede Joakim Wikstrom.

Before Townsend became a professional in 2023, Townsend enjoyed a strong amateur career, including co-medalistic awards in the American amateur and second place in the European Amateur Team Championship 2022.

Townsend played university wave at Boise State University, where he was named Mountain West Conference Golfer of the Year twice in 2021 and 2022, and the Duck Invitational won in 2021.
