The new NBA season starts in a few days and you know what that means: Fantasy Basketball Time!!!
As usual, everyone is welcome to join us all what you need is a free, easy-to-setup Yahoo account! Here are some details about the competition:
- It’s a daily competition, so it’s best to check on your team at least every few days for injuries, match cancellations, or other unexpected events that could impact player nightly availability.
- It’s a daily competition, so it can be an absolute grind! That may not be a selling point, but I want to be fair and set reasonable expectations for anyone who is a new team manager.
- No experience is necessary to take part, but if you don’t it probably means you won’t finish in the top half of the league at the end of the season. Some guys are real pros in the league and are super competitive. There are times when I finish in the bottom two or three!
- We would love to have you join us!!! Or if you know someone, please feel free to send them the link below. We prefer people who are Hornets fans, or who will at least moderately manage their team during the season.
For returning team managers, I sent a message a few weeks ago (via email, I think). The message wasn’t a big deal if you missed it. I also posted a message on the announcement page regarding the draft date and time.
The draft date and time is Monday, October 20 at 8:15 PM. You can view your randomly created draft order order from Yahoo at 7:45 PM.
