Earlier this month, the Honda N-One E: was unveiled in Japan, which brings the electric powertrain of the N-Van E: to a passenger car. In particular, this little Tyke forms the basis of the Super EV concept that made his debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed before being shown in the current Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

Unlike the show car, the N-One E: is a narrow-boded vehicle that fits in the strict size of limits of Japan bee Cars. It is essentially an electrified version of the N-One, a cute upright city Hatchback with round headlights, a trademark black mask, rectangular rear lights and an optional contrasting roof.

The electric version is distinguished by a unique front fascia, with headlights that are now cut at the top and are rectangular instead of round projectors. They flank Twin Charging Port -Doors -The Side of the Driver is home to a Type 1 AC -Gate, the other probably hides a CHAMEMO DC port. To meet this change, there is now a flatter Clamshell -Motorkap, while the air inlet is a simple rectangular recess.

The wheels on this specific unit are small 14-inch six-spoke alloys, but there will certainly be enough options as soon as the car is for sale in the fall.</p><p>The interior of the E: version is much easier than the regular N-ONS, with a clean horizontal dashboard (full of a flat top for better external visibility), square air ventilation openings, a shelf on the middle layer and Honda’s Push button gearbox. Light colors on the dashboard, door maps and steering wheel binding the entire hut together and deliver a light look.</p><p>A small digital instrument display is also mounted, and although the car does not come as standard with a touchscreen, you can fit a navigation system if you want, including a nine-inch Honda Connect unit. That does not seem much in a world where a figure of at least 400 km is considered the absolute minimum, but remember that this thing measures less than 3.4 meters long, so it is not as if there is room for a large battery.</p><p></p><p><center></p><p></center></p><p>What is even more important, this range is considerably longer than the 180 km collected by the most important rivals of the car, the Nissan Sakura and Mitsubishi Ek x EV. Expect the mechanicals to be shared with the N-van E:, which means that a single motor with a front is 64 ps (47 kW) and 162 Nm of torque, hunted by a 29.6 kWh battery.</p><div class=

Interestingly, the related Super EV concept is placed as a final production model that is sold worldwide in markets such as Europe. Honda says that this will be a “fun-to-drive” car with a “uplifting, heartbreaking driving experience”, which probably means that it will be heavily adapted to the lake Japanese model-as the fatty wheel arches suggest.

Expect a more powerful electric motor (given that Honda does not have to adhere to the Japanese gentlemen’s agreement over bee Auto assets), a larger battery for a longer distance and athlete-tailored suspension.
