The Kia EV4 only recently debuted in Europe, but the company is already gearing up to show off its performance features with the upcoming GT version, which is destined to be the most powerful variant in the range. While official details remain scarce, Kia has released early images of a camouflaged prototype, offering a glimpse of what the final model could look like.
The teaser also introduces a new camouflage design that will be used on all future Kia GT prototypes. This striking wrap is intended to evoke both the speed and electric identity of the brand, and will appear on every test vehicle for Kia’s high-performance models.
Besides what the teaser reveals, what remains hidden is the most curious. As with the EV6 and EV9, the Kia EV4 GT doesn’t appear to have a radically different design. Instead, it avoids overly aerodynamic elements in favor of subtle refinements.
The transformation from a standard compact to a sporty crossover seems to happen via smaller details, such as redesigned wheels and striking acid green brake calipers, which echo the appearance of its larger siblings. It’s unclear if the suspension has been lowered, but a slight drop of a few inches over the standard EV4 wouldn’t be surprising.

Inside, the signature acid green color is expected to return, highlighting details such as stitching on the sports seats and other accents, while the overall interior design will remain largely unchanged. There may also be exclusive digital graphics for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, which are activated when the sportiest driving mode is selected.
Kia is yet to reveal details about the powertrain, but it will undoubtedly exceed the 204 hp of the standard EV4. The GT variant will likely use the larger 81.4 kilowatt-hour battery pack, leaving behind the smaller 58.3 kWh unit, and all-wheel drive is expected.
The Kia EV4 GT is expected to make its official debut sometime in 2026.
