Harry Redknapp has chosen his eleven best artists from this weekend’s promotion.
The Premier League team of the weekend that made the most impression on him.
In his top 11 there are two striking players from Newcastle United.
According to Harry, players have contributed so much to the defeat of Nottingham Forest in St James’ Park.
Harry Redknapp explains to Betvictor why he chose this Newcastle United stars as his Premier League team of the week:
In goal, let’s go Lammens At Man United. There was a lot of pressure on this boy, but he did well at his first start for the club. I thought it was a very encouraging debut for the young boy, he tackled everything that came his way.
I go for Wood As a right back, but to be honest, I could have chosen one of the Arsenal players. What a great defense this is, they just look so solid. I really like this boy, he is so solid in one-to-one situations.
Van Hecke Nowadays Brighton’s best defender and saved a point at Wolves in that game. This man hardly loses anything in the air – he is so dominant and very controlled on the ball. He develops into an excellent central defender.
I play a bit false because he played as a left back, but I choose Dan Burn. Eddie has to love this man, he is so reliable in two different positions. You look at him and you think that this man cannot possibly play as a wing defender, but not many players get the upper hand on him. What a career he had at Newcastle.
Worm One of the best left backs in the competition is no doubt about that. He is fantastic defensively and not many attackers consistently get the upper hand on him. People could say that Salah played a bad game on Saturday and much of it is due to this man.
Grind Played his best match in a Villa shirt, a fantastic achievement. He picked up his two goals very well and showed what a threat he can be; He has so much speed and strength. Hopefully he builds on this and gives this villa attack a boost.
Declan rice Seems to always remind West Ham of what they used to have! He was again brilliant here, scored the opener and led the show here. It is clear that he did not celebrate his goal, which is nice to see, and the West Ham fans still appreciate what he has done for the club.
Bruno Guimaraes was great for Newcastle. I thought he was the best player of the park and like most games, everything that did newcastle came through this man. He scored a great goal for the opener before he won the penalty, you can’t do much more.
Caicedo Was top, top class against Liverpool. I don’t see much better than this man. I know that Chelsea has paid a fortune for him, but you can see the quality and impact that he has at stake. He also scored his goal so well, that would probably have been the only feature that he had to add to his game. If he can occasionally add a goal and an assist, what a player he will be.
Semenyo At this pace I might sit in my team every week, the boy is on fire! Bournemouth did so well to turn it around and he was in the middle of it. He was quiet for about 70 minutes and then just came to life. He scored two, set up the other and posed such a threat to an organized back line. I know people will say that I am biased, but how cannot he be my star?
Haaland’s Another easy choice. That was a better victory for City than it seemed and again it was the most important man who achieved results. His goal was the kind of goal that only he can score. The pace, the power, just ridiculous. He looks so good this season.
Manager:
Maresca Has his critics, but what a fantastic victory over Liverpool. I viewed all those injuries before and during the competition and thought that Chelsea could impossible to win this. However, they never stopped trying, I found them so positive, and they were brilliant in the last 10 minutes, even with a bit of an improvised team. He deserves a lot of praise and they could use this like a springboard forward.
