Hamzah Sheeraz will return to the ring this weekend to make his debut at Super-Midleweight against former world title Edgar Berlanga in the Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Sheeraz comes from a failed first world title Challenge in the middleweight, Claim a draw against Carlos Adames that many believe that he was lucky to get.
But Sheeraz is now full of confidence about his new weight with his new trainer, Andy Lee.

Taking up against Berlanga, who shared the ring with the undisputed super middleweight champion, is a big step in weight and caliber of opponent for Sheeraz.
It would not have been surprising to see him in a shelter fight on 168 pounds before jumping to the top of the division, but the Brit believes that he would do himself and the sport with it.
“You just have to look at the landscape of the sport as it is,” said Sheeraz. “His excellence takes over and puts the best fights. I think if I did something else, I would do an injustice to boxing.

Turki Alalshikh has chosen Sheeraz as a hunter for which he has big plans in the future, alongside Shakur Stevenson and Canelo Alvarez.
