At the end of a busy week that has already seen a major section data improvement to the Full Form tab, we’re now introducing a series of small changes designed to make your life easier. Let’s continue with them…
Improved Tracker buttons on the race map
Historically, there was a cumbersome process where you could add a horse (or trainer/jockey/father) to your tracker via the little star icons on the race card… but you then had to go to the Tracker page to add or update any comments. Not anymore. If you now click on the star, a dialog box will appear where you can enter notes directly. If you have already tracked an entity, you can delete it via a ‘delete’ button that appears next to the ‘update’ button. That’s better…
Breeding suffixes on the Full Form and Profiler tabs
Adding breeding country suffixes to horse names is a small but very useful little adjustment. There’s not much else to say about that.

Shortlist scores on Instant Expert
Ooh, what is this? We’ve added a new column to Instant Expert with scores based on the shortlist scoring system. Three for green, one for amber, none for gray, minus one for red. Highest score 15, lowest score -5.

The scores are updated when you change the variables and dropdowns above the main data grid. Handy.
‘Last 5 years’ option on the Drawing tab
Sometimes the draw bias changes over a particular number and trip. Perhaps the track configuration has been adjusted, perhaps a different irrigation system has been installed, occasionally the entire track is excavated and rebuilt. These things impact any biases that may have existed before, and our ‘last 5 years’ button allows you to quickly compare 2009+ data to that of the most recent half decade. Simple dimple.

Added each-way terms to the Odds tab
Wow, it took us a while to figure this out. But finally we are there. The number of places and the portion of paid odds are now displayed on the Odds tab for each bookmaker. Usable.

Report many adjustments and a bug fix
We’ve added CSV download buttons to most reports and course selector dropdowns in all reports. And we’ve also added odds to most of them.

Don’t mention it!
Hopefully there is something useful for most users. There are another billion updates planned for this year, but that’s quite a few this week to get you started.

ps As always, you can view the full user manual here. There’s a lot in Geegeez Gold, including things you probably didn’t even know were there! If you have any questions, let me know below.
