It was nerve -racking when we lost a few wickets in a row – Glenn Maxwell
Speaking after winning the player of the Match Award, Glenn Maxwell said he was trying to stay calm in the middle and added that the series against South Africa will act for them as a trust booster. He said:
“It was nerve-racking when we lost a few wickets in a row. Corbin Bosch bowed a brilliant. To keep the Run-Rate near 9 or 10, we were up to two wickets, I had to keep the majority of the strike, nice to get a few from the middle.
“I have just tried to stay on strike as much as possible. We had a great run with this T20 group. To win another series against a high -quality South African team is great for our self -confidence. We are building something very nice in this group. It is certainly a nice change room to be in and I enjoy every moment.”
