Brooklyn homeowners gather against rent legislation in the short term

Dozens of New Yorkers gathered this week on the stairs of Brooklyn Borough Hall to support a new account that would alleviate the strict rental regulations in the short term. The legislation is intended to return the most important provisions of local law 18, the hosts say they have destroyed their income and made it almost impossible to rent out their houses on platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO.
