Two new teams, four host locations and a dynamic new format – The Senior British Clubs League, Premier Division will be a thriller in 2025/26!

Belfast Club Ormeau returns to the top flight after a year of absence, while the arrival of Ebatt in London takes the division a maximum of eight teams.

They will clash in the course of four game-binding weekends to decide the champions-filled luminaires and our live streaming plans will soon be revealed, so keep an eye on our website and social media channels.

The season starts on 4-5 October with hosting in North Ayrshire, while Batts in Harlow are the location for the second weekend on December 13-14.

Focus will change in South London on February 14 – although there may be no love between the teams on Valentine’s Day! To make it a weekend, Fusion organizes a 2* open competition on Sunday.

The season will arrive at a climax as an Ormesby-Gastheer on 11-12 April and the trophy will be lifted by the Champion Club.

Brighton goes for a Treble after winning the title in each of the past two seasons, at that time calls on people like England Ace Tom Jarvis and Paralympic champion Will Bayley, as well as the Finnish star Alex Naumi and Ukrainian Ihor Zavadskyi.

Can recent champions Ormesby – for whom the English David McBeath has had in sparkling form in recent seasons – will escape the trophy away from the south coast?

Batts have been there last season and will certainly challenge again, while Fusion will probably have a double European veteran champion in the form of Lorestas Trumpauskas.

North Ayrshire and Drumchapel Glasgow will fly the flag for Scotland and have the firepower to test opponents on a certain day.

Ormeau was champion in 2022-23 and returned to the division with a strong-looking team led by Oriol Monzo, who won 10 of his 12 games that season.

England International Sophie Earley and her brother Thomas are located in the team, who also contains promising younger Peadar Sheridan, which is on the GB version path. Jonathan Moeney and James Skelton also have experience at this level.

Ebatt’s list of player registrations contains the interesting name of Sam Mabey, a pillar for Ormesby over the years, but they announced his retirement halfway through last season.

Derek Abrefa, Chris Lewis and Sammy Kaye will probably be in the settlement for team selection – and will head coach Eli Baraty use his contacts to get a rabbit or two out of the hat for that first weekend?
