Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority

- Gboard has received a new “Autofill” shortcut that makes it easier and faster to enter login details and payment information.
- Once enabled in the keyboard settings on the screen, you will see the shortcut in your Gboard options.
- The shortcut is rolled out on the latest stable version of the keyboard, but some users only see it on the beta version of the app.
GBOARD will have a new “Autofill with Google” shortcut to enter login data and payment information, making these processes much faster and more reliable than before.
Some users, including Android Authority Contribution Assemble Debug, started with the notice of the new position in the latest stable release of GBOard – version 15.7.4.787916401. Google previously had this addition to the Play Services Release Notes Last week. However, many users report that they only see the option in the beta version of the keyboard, 15.7.5.787916401.
To get the new “Autofill” shortcut in Gboard, you must first switch it on (switch on) in the keyboard settings on the screen. Once the function is switched on and available, the keyboard also asks you to use “Autofill with Google.”
By tapping the “AutoFill” shortcut, presents two options: passwords and payment methods. If you select the first, autofill shows the saved references for the app you are currently using. Choosing payment methods shows your stored cards, although you have to enter the security code for each credit code or payment card before using it.
The autofill clutch makes filling in passwords and payment information much faster and more convenient, especially since GBOard can sometimes not load this information, forcing it to manually copy it from the password manager.
