New Italy Baas Gennaro Gattuso wants his side to be as consistent as possible as he prepares for his second game that is in charge of Israel in a world cup qualification.
Gattuso started the perfect start on Friday with the 5-0 Thrashing van Estland, which showed a clear improvement of the displays under previous boss Luciano Spalletti.
Mateo Retegui played for the Azzurri in that victory in the Gediss Stadium, where Giacomo Raspadori also played his role with two assists and a goal in the emphatic victory.
Italy is third in Group I after three games of their campaign, six points on drift from group leaders Norway, with whom they are not confronted with the international break of November.
Gattuso was happy with the last match of his team, but he hopes to have more of the same in the next nine months, because they want to qualify for the first time for the World Cup for the first time since 2014.
He said: “For me, what we have to create is enthusiasm, let the players train with a smile on their faces, without weighing them with pressure.
“They stepped up and proven herself, now we have to harvest what we have sown.
“It is good to have this atmosphere around us, but we have to maintain it until the following summer. It’s too easy to talk now, we are only in the first week. If it takes, it means we’ve done well.”

Gattuso is willing to adapt to prevent Israel’s threat, which usually accepts a five at the back.
Israel is one place and three points free from Italy in the group, after he has played a match more, in which Gattuso recognizes the difficulties with which he will be confronted on Monday.
“It is a match that we have to be very wary of their transitions, because they have players with pep, pace and quality,” said the Italian.
