Dr. Amber Thornton is a recognized clinical psychologist and author of ‘A Parent’s Guide to Self-Regulation: a practical framework for breaking the cycle of disruption and managing emotions for parents and children.’ Dr. Amber is a strong proponent of mental health and the well -being of parents. She likes to write and make content that will talk about the daily struggles of motherhood and parenting.

Dr. Amber has a BS in the psychology of Ohio State University and Psy.D. In the clinical psychology of Wright State University School of Professional Psychology. She is a resident of Ohio who has made her home since 2018 Washington. She likes to spend time with her husband and two children.
