Well, now it’s getting closer to Christmas! We shouldn’t exaggerate and claim that we are rested or that the houseboat is decorated for Christmas, but we are slowly feeling that the holidays are approaching. We watched TV series two evenings in a row, and it was the first time since March that we turned on the TV… this is luxury for us!
It’s getting closer to Christmas…

Well, it turned out to be some white clothes, some gingerbread cookies and the occasional Lucia song via social media…!
Christmas is inevitably approaching! We think time is running out So quickly. All the time we think we soon should have peace and quiet, but strangely one thing happens after another. But that said, light everything is calmer. You can tell it’s almost the weekend, and it feels really good!
Winter walks without snow
We currently spend most hours of the day at home in the houseboat. We write texts, cut films, plan new projects and cook fine dining dinners (or well, Peter does it, I just eat…). We also do some cleaning on site and soon we plan to do some cleaning at home too – it’s kind of a minimum level when it comes to making Christmas decorations.
Sometimes we don’t actually go out at all, but most days we try to go for a walk, which we usually combine with shopping and other practical chores. It’s gray now, but we still love our environment.
This week: Thankful for…
This week we are grateful that we can enjoy the peace and quiet at home, including delicious home-made food and TV series. Not to be despised! We Love to travel of course, but to appreciate it properly we also need the opportunity to relax and recharge. Maybe not Real not there yet, but it is coming, and we are grateful for that!
