Sky News Show is now recorded in advance instead of live after the interview incident on Sunday.

Sky News assesses his new Sunday evening program Freya is shooting up, Organized by Freya Leach, after a guest -based guest of Islamophobic made comments during an interview before he was cut off.

The Age Reports Guest Ryan Williams appeared with bacon draped over his shirt and told Leach that it was to “protect him” against terrorists.

Leach, 22, introduced Williams as a “social media sensation” and a conservative political strategist. He was invited to the show to comment on the murder of Charlie Kirk.

During his appearance, he said that the VK experienced the threat of Islamic invasion every day, and he wrongly claimed that the second largest city of Great Britain, Birmingham, has a Muslim majority (facts control: 34% of the inhabitants of Birmingham identifies as a Christian, while 29.9%). While 29.9%).

After a series of comments from anti-Islam, Leach said: “It is important to precede the preceding of Muslims that does not support. At least we have seen here in Australia, at least we have a number of great moderate Muslims, but I think it is to be the elements of culture or religion that are more extreme.”

Leach also interviewed the conservative strategist Joey Mannarino and later said: “I was just told that we should apologize for what has just been sent, those comments earlier.”

A Sky spokesperson said: “These comments were completely inappropriate and unacceptable and have no place in our network. The responsible guest should never have appeared.

“He was specifically asked for his reaction to the murder of Charlie Kirk and its consequences, but instead used our platform to spread his harmful views.

“During the LIVE broadcast we immediately took action to cut the guest, and our host quickly apologized to viewers. The content was not re -published on one of our platforms.

“We recognize the damage that such a rhetoric can cause and can cause full responsibility for this failure in our editorial processes.

“We started with an immediate assessment of the program, including our guestbooking and control procedures, to prevent this type of incident from taking place again.”

Sharing the interview has since been circulating on social media.

Leach premiered at the beginning of August and also organizes Sky’s Late debate Show.
