True Love 5/2 in general – win 1.5 points
I am everywhere about true love, hence the increased interest. Because of its shape, we have to place a line in the Phoenix stakes last time -out, but I know she is better than that. In fact, the horse that won before defeated True Love defeated 5 lengths on her penultimate start.
Our selection was also a winner at Royal Ascot and was just defeated by Gstaad during her 2nd career start.
If true love had won the last time, she would be a very short price here, so I think she just had a day off, the 5/2 looks like a considerable value.
Aiden O’Brien won this last year with Lake Victoria and has also won the race 5 times in the last 10 years. Win.

Brussels 16/1 in general – 0.5 points e/w
This is not easy and I take a chance for Brussels, but I just think he is a horse that is still learning and still maturing. It is clear in the reactions Aiden O’Brien makes about the horse ‘he is still baby -like’. These days it will all click and the adult Brussels will appear. There is a first time that the tongue binding is mounted and if he can find his form on this course in July when 4th to Zavateri, who has since won a group 1, he can run a nice race.
It is clear that the price is clear, the favorite will be very difficult to beat, but at the price and value offered, I think Brussels could surprise a few if he could find a little mature. E/w.

Tribal Chief 12/1 in general – 0.75 points e/w (6 places, 1/5 opportunities)
I have been watching the tribal chef for this race for a while, hoping that he would land a high draw. We have that draw in stall 20 and I am happy to lift the ring.
Tribal Chief beat the favorite of today the previous time -out and beat it comfortably. We are even better off at the weights, because that horse has since been won again, stimulating the shape of tribal chief. How is our selection double the price?
I loved the way he won at Goodwood last time and Sean Legey gave him 3 blows and he went to win the race well. He didn’t even have to give him a blow in the last Furlong, which suggested that the horse had enough in the sleeve.
I love David Menussier as a trainer and when he has a good one, as I believe he does that with Tribal Chief, he gets more well than he does wrong.
With 6 places that are offered, the 12/1 is excellent value. E/w.
