Debutant Estevao was the star of the show when Chelsea opened their preseason with a 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen on Friday.
The Brazilian tapped home afterwards Cole Palmer‘s (£ 10.5 million) shot hit the woodwork and fell in his path.
He could also have returned easily, after he had made seven shots and three chances.
“He is very young. He has to play and he will certainly help. He is a fantastic player.” – Enzo Maresca on Estevao

Palmer, who regularly drove in dangerous positions, went off during the break, with Estevao taking over the role no. 10.
Replacement Joao Pedro (£ 7.5 million) Around it late and shot home in injury time.
Elsewhere, Jamie Gittens (£ 6.5 million) was thrown through in the second half, but Christopher Nunku (£ 6.0 million) and Nicolas Jackson (£ 6.5 million) were both omitted from the MatchDay team in the midst of transfer speculation.
In the meantime, Levi Colwill (£ 5.0 million) will probably miss the whole of the 2025/26 season after a long -term injury.
Trevoh Chalobah (£ 5.0 million) took its place at Stamford Bridge on Friday, but it sounds like the club is already on the market for a new center-back.
“It’s a priority for me, yes. Levi is a fantastic player; what we achieved last season was because of him. He played all the games and I love him. We’re going to miss him. We try to find different solutions. We’ll see [signing a defender]. “ – Enzo Maresca

Brentford 2-2 Borussia Monchengladbach

Both players will be followed in the coming days.
As for the Pitch promotion, Fabio Carvalho (£ 5.0 million) and Mikkel Damsgaard (£ 6.0 million) Both came on the score sheet in front of Keith Andrews.
Carvalho, who made it impressed in the preseason and tried four shots here, volleyed home after a set piece was led by the goal by Nathan Collins (£ 5.0 million).
A few minutes later, a loose pass was intercepted by Damsgaard, who made no mistake.
The deliveries of Damsgaard in particular were a real threat in the Gtech Community Stadium.

Igor Thiago (£ 6.0 million), however, looked isolated for large periods and only registered one shot that was blocked by the opposition.
Brentford will play against Gladbach again tomorrow on the training field, with some who did not play on Friday.
