We’ve put together an early version of our Scout Picks for Gameweek 24 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).
We will complete our weekly selection around Saturday’s deadline.
The upcoming Scout Squad nominations, as well as the pre-match press conferences, will help shape our final Scout Picks.
But this ‘bus team’ at least offers insight into the players and teams that qualify.
There are, as always, certain limitations for our team:
- A budget of £83.0 million for our starting XI
- A total selection cap of £100.0 million
- No more than three players per team

THE PROBABLY BOYS

Fresh from impressive victories over Manchester City and Arsenal, Michael Carrick’s Manchester United have an easier match on paper in Gameweek 24.
Fulham scored just one clean sheet in the 2025/2026 season.
They have also lost every match when playing against teams in the top half of the table.

Obviously the onus is on United to create chances on Sunday, a task they often struggle with. That said, you would go back Bruno Fernandes (£9.4 million) against any team at the moment. The playmaker is the current leader of Captain Poll. He has also amassed 22 points since returning from injury in Gameweek 21 – that’s a better figure than anyone else in this article.
If we decide to add a second United striker, we will consider it Bryan Mbeumo (£8.3 million) and Matheus Cunha (£8.0 million).
With offensive threat and defensive contribution (DefCon) potential, Gabriel Magalhaes (£6.9 million) and Nordi Mukiele (£4.5m) are obvious starting places at the back.
Leeds United are no pushover after impressing again against Everton on Monday, but Gabriel is certainly a bull’s-eye.
As for Sunderland, a Burnley team ranked 20th for expected goals (xG) travel to the Stadium of Light in Gameweek 24.

Attacking representation from Arsenal and Sunderland is also likely.
Bukayo Saka (£10.1 million) and Declan Rice (£7.4m) leads the charge at Arsenal. Although Saka has the superior attacking threat, both players have set pieces in their locker. You’d think Rice would also be in the mix for DefCons at Elland Road.
It’s also important to note that no player at any position has recorded more points (Tot) than Rice on the road in 2025/26:

In Sunderland, Enzo Le Fee (£4.9 million) and Brian Brobbey (£5.5m) both have attractive budgets.
Le Fee has averaged 5.4 points per start at home this season, and Burnley are conceding many important passes in the half-spaces. As for Brobbey, he is in fine form, with three goals in four gameweeks.
Elsewhere, you would expect Chelsea to be high on G-Whizz’s odds list, so they could potentially offer us a backline option. We have Robert Sanchez (£4.9m) in our ‘bus team’, with his nailed status being a major factor.
Further forward, Enzo Fernandez (£6.7 million) and João Pedro‘s (£7.2m) form is hard to ignore against a West Ham United side who have failed to keep a clean sheet under Nuno Espirito Santo. Enzo has scored 35 points in the last five gameweeks, the most of any FPL midfielder, while Joao Pedro posted a season-high 15 points in the previous meeting between these two teams.
Cole Palmer (£10.4 million) and Liam Delap (£6.2m) could be considered later this week depending on their xMins.
In North London, Antoine Semenyo (£7.8m) is once again ineligible for the Champions League this week, so he will certainly make a start.
The glaring omission of the ‘bus team’ is of course teammates at Manchester City Erling Haaland (£15.1 million). The Norwegian last hit the net from the penalty spot against Brighton and Hove Albion in Gameweek 21, but has not scored from open play since December. We will reassess the situation after the Champions League match against Galatasaray tomorrow, but budget could play a role in the final on Friday.
In the meantime, Morgan Rogers (£7.7 million) and Ollie Watkins (£8.8m) have strong cases this week. Rogers now has six goals and three assists in his last 12 games, while Watkins has returned in four of his previous five meetings with his former club Brentford.
Bournemouth have scored more goals than any other team since Gameweek 16 and visit bottom side Wolverhampton Wanderers, so DefCon magnet Mark Senesi (£4.8m) and Evanilson (£7.0m) definitely deserve mentions.
If we decide to look elsewhere on defense, there are plenty of other options, such as Jan Paul van Hecke (£4.5 million), Matty Cash (£4.8 million), Luke Shaw (£4.5 million), Nikola Milenkovic (£5.1 million) and Neco Williams (£4.7 million).
THE LONGER SHOTS

Liverpool take on Newcastle United in Gameweek 24, so it’s hard to make too much of a case for it Muhammad Salah (£14.0 million), Florian Wirtz (£8.3 million) or Hugo Ekitike (£8.8 million). They’ve looked pretty blunt in front of goal lately anyway, with just five goals in as many games.
Elsewhere it will probably be a tough ask for one of them Morgan Gibbs White (£7.3 million), Harry Wilson (£6.0 million), Ismail Sarr (£6.3 million), Jarrod Bowen (£7.6m) or Igor Thiago (£7.2m) to force his way past others.
Finally, Yerson Mosquera (£4.3 million) and Matoe van Manne (£4.5m) may still cross our minds at home in Bournemouth. Bankrolls may seem more likely, mind you.
