It’s time to look at some more differences as Gameweek 23 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) quickly approaches.
We only focus on FPL picks with 5% ownership or less at the time of writing.
This time we’ve selected low-ownership players at Brentford, Everton and Sunderland who we think can make an impact.
KEVIN DAMAGE
- FPL Ownership: 2.8%
- Price: £7.1 million
- GW23-27 fixtures: NFO | avl | new | ARS | BHA
Found in just 2.8% of Fantasy squads, Brentford’s Kevin Damage (£7.1m) is a difference in form.
Since matchweek 18, the German winger has made as many attacking returns as starts (five). The tally could also have been higher after Keith Andrews’ side spurned their top two chances at Stamford Bridge last week.
Schade scored thirteen shots and created four chances in the same five-game period.
He is also the best of all FPL midfielders in terms of expected goals (xG) in 2025/26:

Schade has been particularly productive at the Gtech Community Stadium this season, with six goals and two assists in ten games.
Brentford entertained Sean Dyche’s Nottingham Forest on Sunday, clashing with a Forest backline who have conceded eight times in their last four away games.
And the Bees will look to build on a very decent home goal tally, bettered only by Manchester City and Arsenal.

With tough games against Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Arsenal ahead, Gameweek 27 could serve as the ideal starting point for Schade; However, he has already found the net against Newcastle this season. He also returned against Forest and Villa in the 2024/25 season.
As a result, Damage looks like a very tempting option given its recent form, long-term prospects and small ownership.
NDIAYE EDUCATION

- FPL Ownership: 3.3%
- Price: £6.2 million
- GW23-27 fixtures: LEE | became | full | BOU | MUN
A home game against a Leeds United team that has only managed to keep one clean sheet all season makes us think Indian education (£6.2 million).
Having recently won the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with Senegal, the 25-year-old looks set to start for Everton in Gameweek 23.
Before leaving for AFCON, Ndiaye had scored four goals and two assists in sixteen games, playing mainly as a right winger in David Moyes’ 4-2-3-1 formation.

However, with Jack Grealish (£6.4m) who could be out for “months” due to a foot stress fracture, Ndiaye should get more minutes on the left, where he can cut inside on his stronger right foot, which should theoretically increase his goal threat.
Ndiaye is only third behind Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury Hall (£4.9m) for expected assists (xA) among Everton players, with 2.7.
Combined with penalties and a potential for defensive contributions (DefCon), Ndiaye could be a real difference maker.
Everton entertain Leeds, who could be without, on Monday Jaka Bijol (£3.9 million) and Gabriel Gudmundsson (£3.8 million) due to injury.
And with the fixture list set to last a while (they also host Burnley in Gameweek 29), the 3.3% owned midfielder looks worth considering.
BRIAN BROBBEY

- FPL Ownership: 0.7%
- Price: £5.5 million
- GW23-27 fixtures: how | BUR | ars | LIV | FULL
Sunderlands Brian Brobbey (£5.5m) has emerged as a new budget option after some fine recent showings.
The Dutchman has found the net in two of his last three Premier League matches and claimed the maximum bonus each time.
Brobbey is benefiting from a continued run in the starting XI and now faces West Ham United and Burnley.
“Brian is getting better game by game; you can feel it. His teammates feel very comfortable when he is in the box. When he is in the box he is a huge threat and he has built a good rapport with them. Now we are seeing the best version of Brian.” – Regis Le Bris on Brian Brobbey
It is striking that all sixteen of Brobbey’s shots this season ended up in the penalty area:

Considering that upcoming opponents, West Ham and Burnley, have kept just four clean sheets between them this season and rank 19th and 20th respectively in terms of shots conceded in the penalty area, Brobbey will certainly get opportunities to add to his goal tally.
Comprehensively priced, and owned by just 0.7% of Fantasy managers, Brobbey can provide a nice solution for those in need of a forward enabler.
