We’ve put together an early version of our Scout Picks for Gameweek 10 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).
The selection will be finalized closer to Saturday’s deadline, shaped by the upcoming Scout Squad nominations and pre-match press conferences.
But this early selection at least offers insight into the eligible players.
ABOUT THE SCOUT PICKS ‘BUS TEAM’
There are, as always, certain limitations for our team:
- A budget of £83.0 million for our starting XI
- A total selection cap of £100.0 million
- No more than three players per team
GAME WEEK 10 PROGRAM

Above: The Gameweek 10 matches sorted by difficulty on our Season ticker.
The match at Anfield is difficult to call, because the two teams are in opposite shapes. Liverpool have lost four in a row and Aston Villa have the same number of wins in a row.
Tottenham Hotspur against Chelsea could go either way, while second-placed Bournemouth are enjoying themselves but must visit Manchester City.
THE PROBABLY BOYS

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Newcastle United have attractive trips to Burnley and West Ham United, but these come just days before Champions League action. That could mean rotation.
Gabriel Magalhaes (£6.4 million) and Jurriën Hout (£6.0m), the FPL’s leading pair of defenders, should still start at Turf Moor. The Gunners are aiming for a fourth clean sheet in a row, after having only five big chances in nine games.

As for Newcastle, Then Burns (£5.1m) feels like a safe starter while their other left-backs are injured. West Ham continue to concede from set pieces, so this 6ft aerial threat could yield results at both ends.
Sticking with the tall Magpies, the availability of four wingers ensures that Nick Woltemade (£7.5m) the safest route to their attack. He broke the post with a golden opening on Saturday, denying him a fifth goal in six league matches.
Another in-form blanker was Erling Haaland (£14.7m) – still the only Man City player to score more than once in the competition. He’s feeling a little non-negotiable right now.
Elsewhere despite Bruno Fernandes (£8.9m) Because he has been awarded penalties and is solid for Defensive Contribution (DefCon) rewards, it is hard to ignore his teammate Bryan Mbeumo (£8.1m) now. The latter’s goal at Liverpool was followed on Saturday by the match against Brighton and Hove Albion.
The 26-year-old may be the FPL’s second-best midfielder in terms of points, but he is number one in his position in terms of effort (23) and shots on target (12). A trip to Nottingham Forest seems brilliantly timed.
IN CONTENT

It is admittedly difficult to settle for an Arsenal striker. Both Bukayo Saka (£10.0 million) and Viktor Gyokeres (£9.0m) are on successive blanks – five before the last, with his midfield colleague coming on after 65 minutes to manage his playing time.
Instead, it was like this God bless you (£7.6 million), who won Sunday’s match against Crystal Palace. His offense produced a fourth offensive return in six games.
Speaking of his former club, the Eagles’ unbeaten run of 19 games in all competitions was followed by three defeats from four. But a great run of games starts at home against Brentford, which is probably a guarantee Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.7m) will be a very popular Gameweek 10 replacement for Gyokeres or João Pedro (£7.5m).

Only Haaland has more attempts (29), shots on target (16) and expected goal involvement (xGI, 8.37) than him, while fullback Daniel Munoz (£5.6m) is the league’s best defender for the last two. With this Bus Picks XI costing comfortably under £83.0 million, the Colombian is an affordable luxury.
Bernd Leno (£5.0m) is between the sticks as he is at home against Wolverhampton Wanderers and we do not yet know the status of the injured defender Joachim Andersen (£4.5 million). Issa Diop (£4.4m) could replace.
At Everton, Indian education (£6.5m) is an all-round midfielder. He takes penalties, only to be defeated by Mohammed Jerusalem (£6.8m) for take-ons (46), ranks number one in the league in expected assists (xA, 2.16), loves to shoot and has delivered three DefCon awards. The winger’s problem is that Beto (£5.3m) continues to shake things up!
THE LONGER SHOTS

This time Ndiaye comes up against Sunderland’s solid defense, of which Nordi Mukiele (£4.1m) seems the best choice at the moment.
Raul Jimenez (£6.2m), opposite his former club Wolves, has potential after notching an assist at the weekend. But there are still a number of attackers ahead of him in the pecking order.
It is also wise never to rule out anything Antoine Semenyo (£8.1 million). Sunday’s quiet display was only his third clean sheet in nine games, and it’s not like Man City’s backline is anything to fear.
Finally, Yankuba Minteh (£6.0m) is an intriguing difference. No one has had more penalty area touches to date (63) and he provided an assist in Gameweek 9. Brighton play Leeds United at home.
