Grove city, oh – The Champaign County Fair in Urbana, Ohio, organized the third stage of the Buckeye Stallion series for first -year Pacers on Monday (August 4). The 11-Race card contained six $ 20,000 HARNAS racedivisions of first-year Colt Pacers and five $ 20,000 divisions of first-year Merrieveeulen Pacers. Four Colts have recorded their second BSS victories of the season.
Winners of the first leg Opportunities on RPJ and Hunka Hunka and winners of the Second Rijwagon Wagon Day and Stoke The Fire added a second BSS victory to their grandbooks.
Hunka Hunka (Brett Miller) placed the fastest time of the night between Colt Pacers and won the fourth division in 1: 55.4. The trainee of Daren Harvey and Catch the fire Colt has three victories in four starts this season.
Dan Noble stoke the fire and the chance of RPJ to victory in their respective departments.
Stoke the Fire won the first division with five lengths in 1:56. Trained by Scott Cox, the Catch the Fire Velding, the board has hit three of four seasonal starts with two wins.
The chance of RPJ took the second division, whereby the ultimate catch was drained by a neck while both horses stumbled the thread in 1: 57.1. The Downby theseaside Velding is trained by Virgil Morgan Jr. He has two wins and a third in three starts this season.
Wagon Day scored his second victory of the season and won the fifth division with three lengths in 1:57. Kayne Kauffman rode the Summa Cum Laude Ruin for Mike Polhamus.
The other winners of Colt Pacer on Monday were the legacy of Summa for Chris Page and Brian Brown in 1: 57.1 in the third division and is not a fire for Noble and Thomas Litt in 1: 57.3 in the Sixth Division. Noble added a fourth row of victory in the map with Dustin Pfeifer -Stagia, she is too. The Well -saying Filly won the fourth division with more than seven lengths in 1: 57.1 for her second victory of 2025.
Tyler Smith scored riding wins with Fire Country and Standerosa.
Fire Country won the second division with two lengths in 2:00 and marked its second victory in five seasonal starts. The Catch the Fire Filly is trained by Logan Rowe.
Standerosa recorded her first career victory and took the fifth division in 1: 59.1. A foal through The PanderosaShe is trained by Tye Loy.
Page has added a second row of victory in the map and led brown intern Atom Hart Mother to the victory in the third division in 2:00. It was the first career gain for the Downby theseaside Merrieve.
Buckeye Stallion Series Action will take place on Monday 11 August, with the fourth stage for second -year merringeulen in MGM Northfield Park.
The three-day Champaign County Fair Meet will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday (5-6 August). Both days have a 15-race card from 6.30 pm The races are streamed live on the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association Youtube -channel.
