Gaza: Doctors who are attacked is a study into the impact of War on Gaza’s health system and the treatment of his medical staff.

Channel 4 Doco “Gaza: Doctors Under Attack” screens on Four corners On Monday.

Hospitals, doctors and nurses have long been protected under international law.

But in Gaza, most of the 36 most important hospitals of the territory have now been attacked or destroyed.

Gaza: Doctors who are attacked is a study into the impact of War on Gaza’s health system and the treatment of his medical staff.

Israel says it is justified to attack hospitals while Hamas uses them for military purposes.

The documentary is based on testimony of Palestinian health workers, witness reports and official reports of human rights agencies, to investigate accusations of attacks, detainment and abuse.

In essence, the personal stories of doctors who try to treat patients under extraordinary disorders.

A doctor survived strikes that his family killed, but were held as he continued his work. Another doctor, a senior medic, died in custody.

Directed by Karim Shah, Ramita Navai and Ben de Pear, and reported by Emmy award -winning journalist Ramita Navai for basement films and Channel 4.

It presents a rare and detailed report of the toll of the conflict at the hospitals of Gaza and the doctors in it, with urgent questions about the war rules.
