Former Rockhold wants to get some boxing money in their hands.

With the UFC Constant under fire for underpaid hunters, it is no surprise that a whole series of former MMA icons such as Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, Cris Cyborg and Vitor Belfort have been taken to the Sweet Science to strengthen their bank accounts.

Two of the newest MMA stars to exchange their 4OZ gloves for a few eight-auncers are Luke Rockhold, a former UFC Middleweight Champion, and Darren Till. The two will be a loaded head lines MF & DAZN X Series 22 Map in Manchester on August 30, where the winner leaves as the MFB Bridgeweight title holder.

During a recent interview with Helen YeeRockhold gave some insight into why he decided to sign the dotted line for his very first boxing match and the answer should not be a surprise.

“Why do you think I’m boxing? I want boxing money,” said Rockhold. “We all know that it is there. So my value here must prove with drones. Put it down. There are big things ahead.”

It will be Rockhold’s first time, since the score of a third round of TKO against Joe Schilling on Karate Combat 45 in April 2024. Before that, the resident of Santa Cruz suffered a brutal loss against ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry in his first and only appearance under the Bare Knuckle Fightingship Banner.

As for Darren Till, the Liverpudlian has already participated in three boxing attacks of the exhibition, which beat Mohammad Mutie, Anthony Taylor and Darren Stewart.

“I plan to bully him around,” Rockhold said about Till. “He doesn’t like busy. He loves his space. I’m going to pimp him a little, I’m going to feel him, but I feel that I am going to push the pressure, control him and a little big brother.

“I intend to eliminate him. I’m going to relax. I’m going to be myself. You have to respect until; He has good hands. So I have to get in his head, play the game and watch to perform. I think I can switch it off. I’m going to fight to win. “
