Flyers’ goal congregation prospects for 2025-26 | Pro hockey news

Philadelphia, Pa -you would think that a franchise with the goal convening history of the Philadelphia Flyers that a team would have pursued some of the best prospects in the most recent NHL version with little targeting prospects, but the Flyers decided not to pursue for the time being.

Alexei Kolosov is almost a side issue after a short period in the NHL last season and the Ivan Fedotov experiment was a failure. Samuel Erson turns out to be nothing more than a back -up goalkeeper. Then Vlader has a career 3.00 goals against average as the only legitimate keeper of the big club. Philadelphia leaves that behind with only three legitimate goalkeeper in the Flyers Farm system.

Today we look at the top goal in the Flyers Farm system for 2024. Normally we do a top 5 list, but unfortunately the flyers -pipeline is a thin when it becomes in the NHL.

Yegor Zavragin – The second goalkeeper selected by Philly in 2023, Zavragin could eventually be the best of a very small bank. Zavragin, who has the same build as Carson Bjarnason and loses to his potential. He played for two different teams in the KHL in Russia. His savings percentage as a career low of .912 in 37 games for St. Petersburg, but his SAA for Sochi was .941. Expect that Zavragin NHL playing time will rather than see later if the Flyers situation in the net will not improve quickly.

Carson Bjarnason – His WHL four -year career is behind him. Bjarnason will just share it with someone in the AHL, but with whom someone is gambling. Time is on his side together with a razor thin prospect pool. The 6’3 ”202 pounds prospect will get this next season a long look of Flyers Management, especially since this will be his first in a large pro competition.

Alexei Kolosov – seventeen games is all that Philadelphia needs to see that Kolosov is not close to an NHL goalkeeper, even if he thinks he is. The feeling is that Kolosov will no longer see the daylight in an ice rink in Noord -America, unless something changes in his head. The KHL will certainly welcome him again. The rumor is that Kolosov was not happy during his short time in Lehigh Valley, and Fedotov looks like he’s the third chord keeper with the flyers. That leaves with only two options for him and it is not in Philly.
