Florida pros and juniors headline with stars strewn US Open Line -Up – Usta Florida

The last Grand Slam of the Year is here and Florida Tennis is at the front and central in the US Open 2025 in New York. With a strong line -up of professional and junior players, USTA Florida is proud to support a talented group that competes with one of the largest stages in sport.

Under the leadership of the highest ranked Florida player in both the ATP and WTA is Coco Gauff, who is number 3 that enters the US Open. In 2023 Gauff won her first Grand Slam of her young career, in the Usta Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and will be looking for her second of the following year Winning the French open Rather.

The highest men’s player and one of the rising stars of tennis, Ben Shelton comes the Grand Slam fresh in his first ATP Masters 1000 victory. His young career started in 2023 on the US Open, where he came to the semi -final, before he lost to the final champion Novak Djokovic.

Another best player from Florida is Amanda Anisimova, who is number 9 in the WTA. In Wimbledon, Anisimova went on a crazy run and made it all the way to the championship. That is why building, she will try to use the Homecourt benefit to her advantage while she starts her run with her first career Grand Slam.

Two other veterans from Florida on the men’s side, are Sebastian Korda and Reilly Opelka. In recent years, Korda has been one of the top players of Florida and wants to add a title to a year full of ups and downs. On the other hand, Opelka, which stands on 6’11 ‘will break in at the event for the first time in his career in the quarterfinals.

Austin Krajicek, the double specialist and former French Open Doubles champion, takes the courts in Flushing. His experience and Lefty Serve make him a threat in the Grand Slam.

Completion of the men’s pulling are two Rookies. Darwin Blanch, fresh from his Usta Boy’s 18S National Championship Win in Kalamazoo, earned a wildcard in the main table. The 17-year-old from Florida makes his Grand Slam debut.

Martin Damm Jr. Will also make his Grand Slam Main Draw debut on the US Open 2025, after winning the qualifying stretching.

Some veterans on the women’s side include Sofia Kenin and Danielle Collins. Kenin is the 2020 Australian Open Champion, while Collins has won a number of major events, such as the Miami Open in 2024.

Finaling the women is the Dubbels expert, Nicole Melichar-Martinez. She returns as one of the best American doubles and is a former Grand Slam finalist.

Juniors at the US Open

Florida will also be well represented in the US Open Junior Championships, which starts on 31 August. The tournament contains the best junior players from all over the world, and several of the best in Florida will compete in Singles and Doubles.
