The team placed Austin Eekeler on Monday on injured reserve due to a seasonal torn Achilles tendon. Rodriguez should be a distance goal this week after performing the ball 11 times. However, as long as Croskey-Merritt and Rodriguez split the early role, it will be difficult to trust in starting fantasy.
We can expect Croskey-Merritt to see more playing time as the season progresses, which means less playing time for Rodriguez. However, Rodriguez has a number of the highest opportunities among the distance backbacks to see double digits in a certain week in the short term.
