Mourning widow Erika Kirk has revealed that she is wearing the blood -stained pendant of St. Michael who was wearing her husband Charlie when he was shot.
The small icon, with blood traces in the crack of the cross, was torn by doctors from Kirk’s body when they tried to stop the bleeding after he was shot at a turning point USA event in Utah less than two weeks ago, Erika told the New York Times.
Erika, 36, told how the sheriff advised her to see her husband’s body after the bullet had pierced his neck.

“With all due respect, I want to see what they have done to my husband,” she said, remembered how she kissed him in the hospital.
“His eyes were semi-open, and he had known this, Mona Lisa-like half-smile. As he was happily died. As Jesus saved him. The bullet came blinking, he blinked and he was in heaven,” she said.
The mother of two also gave devastating insights into her life since Kirk’s shocking death through a murderer, revealed that she still could not bring herself to wash the towels her husband had used for his last shower.
“To this day I can’t go to my bedroom. I rotate where I sleep,” she said.
