Eight English referees have been selected to officially agree with the WTT Star -Gededering London.
They include Tom Purcell (depicted above), who was the final of Messrs Singles at the 2012 Olympic Games in the same city, and Harry Jutle, who was part of the referee team during the World Championships in Doha in Doha.

The full list of English officials for the Star -Mediator is: David Edwards, Harry Jutle, Kim Mudge, Jo Oouthwaite, Tom Purcell, Jenny Sanders, Vladimir Shadrunov and Sainta Walshe.
The referee for the competition in the Copper Box Arena on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is Tina Crotta from Greece.
In addition to the referees, a large number of English officials and volunteers will play an important role in the competition of 21-26 October.
They include competition manager Chris Newton and Field of Play managers Vincenzo Chiarello, Brian Jackson and Debbie Oram.
Matt Pryke is the callkamer referee and Karen Tonge Obe and Margaret Welch the referee managers. Then Bullen will be on site as a reserve referee or referee manager.
Howard Brialey and Martin Ireland will be the Call Room managers and Bernie Leech and Bob Whittaker The Training Hall Managers. David Maddison is the Ball Crew Manager.
